The Department of Technical Education, Government of Gujarat has given the responsibility for managing a Degree Engineering College to Gujarat Technological University (GTU). We provide latest facilities like modern technology teaching, well experience staff, laboratory with latest equipment and open source resources in library.
Gujarat Power Engineering and Research Institute (GPERI) which commenced in the year 2011 at village Mewad, dist.Mehsana, Gujarat with the approval of All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Managed by Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Ahmedabad. GPERI offers currently four graduate courses (Civil, Computer, Electrical and Mechanical) in engineering and research opportunities to choose from. The institute has intentions to develop state-of-the-art laboratories and infrastructure to cater the needs of high skilled employable engineers to the industry.
Gujarat Power Engineering & Research Institute aims at the complete development of the student and will be driven by a team of academicians who will be hand-picked and trained to ensure that the students are given every possible support in all their endeavours, academic or otherwise. It will be a multi disciplinary institution and this also ensures that the students will have to have ready access to a wide range of academic material.
Sports and other co-curricular activities would be encouraged and the students would be given every form of support to develop their talents in all fields. Our brand of education will not have narrow horizons, we believe in exposure. Our students would be encouraged to widen their knowledge base and study beyond the confines of the syllabus. This would be evidenced by the extensive library facilities in the college, both physical and virtual. In this age of technology, knowledge is just a click away and we ensure that every student of the college will have the best of technology at his/her disposal.
The comfort and health of the student community, both mental and physical, will be given utmost importance. A student of GPERI will lack nothing in terms of support from the management and staff. We aim to lend a gentle guiding hand so that our students recognize their inner potential and grow of their own accord as stalwarts of tomorrow’s society.
